National Heimlich Maneuver Week

This week is "National Heimlich Maneuver Week." Now, the Heimlich Maneuver is a very good thing, because it saves thousands of people per year. But do we really need a WEEK named after the guy? He's pretty cool himself, but still. So today's presentation was pretty funny. Dr. Heimlich came in to teach us how to do the Heimlich Maneuver. It can be used on drowning people and people having an Asthma attack. In fact, it is better to use the Heimlich Maneuver on a drowning person then to give them Mouth-to-Mouth Resuscitation. *EDIT* Scott says: "Mouth to mouth does work. But you're only supposed to do it after you remove the water from the lungs via the heimlich maneuver. The air can't go anywhere if the lungs are filled with water, so you use heimlich to clear the lungs, and then do mouth to mouth." */EDIT* That surprised me. Also, yesterday Addy (Tomlin) sent everybody in Band (including Mr. Rotsching) an email (from Taylor's Blackboard account) saying, "Ola. Band sucks." Now, I tend to agree with her, but she send it to Rotsching as well. She's lucky she isn't in Band. :) And I'm listening to Beatles music. I actually have to say, it isn't bad at all. I have to agree with Scott now. You can see their different moods in each song. It's pretty cool.
